RADNOR, Pa. –
Senior Mike McDevitt's goal with less than five minutes in regulation proved to the game's winner in Cabrini's 2-1 come-from-behind victory against Arcadia University Saturday at Edith Robb Dixon Field.

Junior Evan Hanauer's carry into the box from the right corner and centering pass set-up the one-timer score. The marker was McDevitt's fifth of the season.

Cabrini trailed 1-0 for more than 71 minutes before senior John Graham provided the game's equalizer. The Cavaliers out-shot the Knights 20-17, but it wasn't until the 71:02 mark that the hosts crack the scoreboard.

Graham settled a bouncing ball about five yards outside the box and sent a right-foot shot at Arcadia netminder Jeff Kratohwill. Kratohwill's dive attempt deflected the ball, but not enough as it tucked in the far corner.

Slightly more than 15 minutes following, McDevitt provided the go ahead to Cabrini's fifth win of the season. It's the Cavaliers first win since September 7 against Wesley College.

The Cavaliers played to a 2-2 tie against preseason No. 15 ranked Johns Hopkins University on September 17.

The Knights secured a one-goal lead at the 33:39 mark following a goal from Matt Benner. Benner corralled a rebound in front off a save made by sophomore Troy Allen. Benner settled the carom and deposited the first score of the game from 10-yards out.

Senior goalkeeper Colin Hinkelmon tallied seven saves in his second win of the season. Kratohwill collected eight saves in the setback.

The Cavaliers' claimed a 7-2 advantage in corners.

Cabrini (5-2-1) will prep for its final tune-up of the non-conference schedule, held at Edith Robb Dixon Field Wednesday, October 1 at 6:30 p.m. versus Widener University.
