CHESTER, Pa. –
The Cabrini men's soccer team wrapped up its non-conference schedule with a 2-1 victory at Widener University Wednesday night. The Cavaliers are unbeaten in their last four matches after using two goals in the second half to top the Pride.

Junior forward Steve Reynolds scored his first goal as a member of the Cavaliers in the win. Sophomore forward Eric Collins' third score of the season proved to be the contest's decisive tally with less than seven minutes remaining.

Cabrini found itself trailing at halftime for just the fourth time this season after Widener scored the game's first goal in the 42nd minute. D.J. DiPaola converted a pass from teammate Max Bernhard at the 41:30 mark, supplying the hosts with a 1-0 advantage.

The Cavaliers evened the scoring at 1-1 with Reynolds' marker just 26 seconds into the second half. Collins was credited with an assist on the goal.

The ensuing 38 minutes played scoreless until Collins deposited the go-ahead and eventual game-winning goal in the 84th minute off a feed from senior forward Justin McCall.

The Cabrini offense recorded 14 totals shots against the Pride, including 10 shots in the second half.

Senior goalkeeper Bryan Johnson totaled two saves for his eighth victory of the season. Widener goalkeeper Hammed Correa tallied three stops in the loss.

Cabrini (8-2-1, 1-0-0) resumes its Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) schedule Saturday, October 3 at Immaculata University at 1 p.m. The Cavaliers are unbeaten in their last 11 matches versus conference opponents dating back to the 2008 regular and postseasons.
