RADNOR, Pa. –
Senior forward Kevin Misevicius scored 25 points, including the 1,000th of his Cabrini career, in the 24th-ranked Cabrini men's basketball team's 91-77 win against Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) opponent Marywood University Saturday afternoon at Nerney Field House. The Cavaliers have reached the 20-win plateau for the 17th time program history and second straight season under second-year head coach Marcus Kahn.

Misevicius becomes the program's 14th player all-time to reach 1,000-point plateau and the first to do so in less than two full seasons. The last Cavalier to accomplish the feat was Randy Reid during the 2007-08 season.

Misevicius joined the Blue & White last season from Lehigh Carbon Community College, where he scored a combined 972 points in two years. He is now just 20 points shy of scoring 2,000 for his college career overall.

Freshman point guard Cory Lemons complimented Misevicius on the offensive end, also netting 25 points. Lemons pulled down seven rebounds and dished out seven assists against zero turnovers. He shot 12-for-16 from the floor for the game.

Junior forward Dom Farrello reached double figures, tallying 10 points. Freshman center Goran Dulac recorded eight points and a team-high 10 boards.

Junior combo guard Lamar Fisher played a spirited 22 minutes off the bench for the Blue & White, pairing four points with five rebounds. Sophomore forward Brandon Carter mixed seven points with five boards and three helpers.

The Cavaliers led by as much as 20 points, 81-61, with 7:58 remaining in the second half. Lemons scored 15 of his 25 points after the intermission.

Marywood's offense boasted four scorers in double figures, led by 18 points from point guard D.J. Strayhorn. Forward Lenny Martin (15), forward Matt Lepri (12) and center Matthew Medici (10) also scored in double digits.

The Cavaliers out-scored the Pacers on the break, 20-7, and in the paint, 50-43. Cabrini committed just seven turnovers and forced 14 Marywood miscues.

The win is Cabrini's 10th in 10 games at home this season. The Cavaliers are 26-2 on the Nerney Field House hardwood since the start of the 2008-09 campaign.

The Blue & White is ranked No. 24 in this week's D3Hoops.com Top 25 poll, released every Tuesday. It is the Cavaliers' first national ranking since the final poll of the 2001-02 season.

Following the conclusion of the contest against Marywood, the Blue & White hosted its annual alumni game.

Cabrini (20-2, 14-1) brings its four-game win streak to CSAC-rival Gwynedd-Mercy College Monday, Feb. 15. Game time versus the Griffins is set for approximately 8 p.m.
