HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. –
The Cabrini men's basketball team returned to the win column on Monday, topping Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) opponent Centenary College on the road, 95-82. The victory ends the Cavaliers' two-game skid against the Cyclones at Folkner Family Gym.

Senior forward Dom Farrello, the reigning CSAC Player of the Week, posted his fourth career double-double, and second in three games, with a career-high tying 24 points and 10 rebounds. Farrello shot 9-for-18 overall and knocked down 2-of-5 3-point field goals. He also blocked four shots.

Sophomore point guard Cory Lemons nearly put together a triple-double, coupling 16 points with eight rebounds and eight assists. Lemons drained both of his 3-point field goal attempts.

Junior guard John Boyd totaled 17 points, shooting 6-for-12 from the floor overall and 4-for-8 from long range. Sophomore guard A.J. Williams netted 14 points and dished out three assists.

Sophomore center Goran Dulac tallied nine points and nine rebounds. Freshman forward Fran Rafferty paired eight points with seven boards.

Three nights removed from scoring a season-low 55 points in a loss at Marywood University, the Cavaliers' 95-point outburst is the team's second-highest scoring performance of the year. Cabrini topped Lancaster Bible College, 98-61, at home on Jan. 4.

The Blue & White shot 50.0 percent from the field for the game overall and a blistering 52.4 percent from beyond the 3-point arc. Cabrini owned a 44-41 advantage at halftime due to a 53.3 percent shooting clip overall and 66.7 percent long-range barrage.

The Cavaliers opened up a nine-point advantage, 58-49, at the 15:48 mark of the second half following a lay-in from Farrello.

However, the Cyclones kept Cabrini in striking distance throughout the second half, even tying the contest, 65-65, with 11:05 remaining.

Yet, the Cavaliers twice ran to seven-point leads in the final 7:05. Two free throws from Lemons at the 1:42 mark extended Cabrini's lead to 10 points, 87-77.

The Centenary offense boasted five scorers in double figures led by Ludner Innocent's 16 points on 8-for-10 shooting. Corey Kearney chipped in 14 points.

The victory is the Cavaliers' first on the road against the Cyclones since a 68-66 win on Feb. 9, 2008. Centenary handed Cabrini its only loss versus a CSAC opponent during the 2009-10 campaign.

Cabrini (7-4, 4-1) resumes its CSAC regular season schedule on Saturday, Jan. 15 versus Philadelphia Biblical University at the historic Palestra on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania. Game time against the Crimson Eagles is set for 1 p.m.
