HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – The Cabrini College men's soccer team lost a heartbreaker today 3-2 in double overtime at Centenary College. The loss evens the Cavaliers record at 5-5-1 overall and 1-1 in the CSAC.
Just five minutes into the game, the Cavaliers found themselves looking up at Centenary on the scoreboard, as the Cyclones scored first. Things got worse for Cabrini in the 21st minute as Centenary added another goal.

Eric Collins evened the score at two five minutes into the second half.
Both teams created scoring chances late in the game, perhaps the best being a shot from Cabrini freshman
Matt Sabin that hit the crossbar.
The teams combined for eight shots in the 15 minutes of overtime before Centenary's Alex Walters ended the game in the 105th minute.
The clubs recorded 41 total shots and 19 corner kicks in the game.

The Cavaliers will host Neumann University on Wednesday, October 5 at Edith Robb Dixon Field as part of a men's and women's soccer doubleheader. The men will open play at 4:00 p.m. with the ladies to follow at 6:30 p.m.
