RADNOR, Pa. – The Cabrini College men's soccer team fell to 5-4-1 after today's 2-0 home loss to the Alvernia University Crusaders.
The Cavaliers pressed their offense right from the opening whistle, creating excellent scoring opportunities and two corner kicks in the game's first three minutes, including a rocket shot by freshman

The game, however changed in the 6th minute when Alvernia converted its first shot of the game. The soccer ball found itself traveling the length of the field constantly, with both teams creating offensive chances.

Ryan Cerrato each hit the same post with their respective shots.
The second half play moved similarly to that of the first half, with each team trying to secure the game's flow. The Crusaders capitalized again in the 63rd minute to take a 2-0 lead.
Cabrini created a 8-1 edge in corker kicks, but could only muster two shots on goal in the 90 minutes.
The Cavaliers will return to CSAC ply on Saturday when they travel to Hackettstown, N.J. to face Centenary College. The match is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
