HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – The #8 Cabrini Cavaliers men's basketball team used a balanced attack with nine players tallying at least five points in winning their ninth consecutive game.  The 92-71 win at Centenary College raised the Cavaliers' record to 18-1 and a perfect 12-0 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference.

Preseason All-American senior Cory Lemons paced the Cabrini offense with 18 points and eight assists, while junior reserve Jeremy Knowles added 17 in the win.    

Lemons scored Cabrini's first four points and A.J. Williams tallied the next four and the Blue and White never looked back.  By the middle of the first stanza, the Cavaliers had run out to a 20-4 advantage. 

The Cyclones cut Cabrini's lead to just six points with 4:23 left in the first half, but three pointers from junior Goran Dulac and Knowles helped the Cavaliers extend their lead back to 16 with a 10-0 run.

By the break, the Blue and White had turned eight Centenary turnovers into 10 points and converted a 24-12 points in the paint advantage into a 44-30 lead on the scoreboard.

Cabrini continued to force the issue coming out of the locker room, as the Blue and White scored 13 of the first 15 points in the second half.  Senior John Boyd connected on a three-pointer to give Cabrini a 57-32 lead less than five minutes into the stanza.

Centenary got as close as 15 points twice in the second half, but each time the Cavaliers replied with a 5-0 spurt of their own to extend the advantage.

Junior Abraham Bah posted season-highs of 10 points and six rebounds.  Dulac finished with nine points, while Willliams and Corey Frizzera added eight points each.

Sophomore Fran Rafferty, who scored a career-high 28 points in the teams' first meeting of the season, set another career best with 14 rebounds in the win.  Freshman Aaron Walton-Moss also reached double-figures with 11 caroms.

Zhimir Butler led the Cyclones (10-10, 6-7 CSAC) with 14 points off the bench.

The Cavaliers will face their final non-conference foe on Monday as they cross the street for the annual “Battle of Eagle Road.”  Cabrini will take on Eastern University at approximately 8:00 p.m. at the Gymnasium on Eastern's campus.
