RADNOR, Pa. – The Cabrini College men's soccer team extended its winning streak to four matches after today's 6-0 home victory over the visiting Baptist Bible College Defenders. The win improves the Blue and White to 8-7-2 on the year and 5-2-1 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference.
The win also came in Cabrini's final regular season home match of the season as the club and fans celebrated the careers of its five seniors,
Mike Gee,
Anthony Girolamo,
Kyle Johnson,
Ryan Juhring and
Pat Wehring. With today's victory, the group has led the Cavaliers to 41 wins, including the 2009 CSAC Championship, while scoring 69 points on 19 goals and 31 assists.
Led by the seniors, the Cavaliers put on dominant performance, outshooting the Defenders 21-2, including 14 shots on goal. The Blue and White also secured five corner kicks to Baptist Bible's one.
Sophomore
George Lambritsios, who scored the winning goal in last year's Senior Day win, opened the scoring in the 7th minute when he converted a Wehring pass into his sixth goal of the season.
In the 14th minute, junior
Brett Lockbaum found fellow senior

Wehring and Lockbaum each tallied a goal and an assist in the victory. Gee maintained a clean sheet in his first career start.

The victory concluded a full morning of soccer activity as Cabrini hosted its annual Alumni Game. Nearly 30 former players and coaches, including Cabrini Hall of Famers Duncan Hubley and Glen Jaskelewicz, converged on Edith Robb Dixon Field to renew acquaintances.
The Cavaliers will close their regular season on Wednesday when they travel to Scranton, Pa. to face Marywood University. The action is set to begin at 7:00 p.m.
