RADNOR, Pa. – The Cabrini College men's soccer team suffered its second consecutive CSAC loss today, a 2-1 overtime to defeat at the feet of the Rosemont College Ravens. The loss drops the Cavaliers to 2-2-1 in the conference and 4-7-2 overall.

Anthony Girolamo opened the scoring in the 19th minute as he converted a through ball from sophomore
George Lambritsios into his fourth goal of the season.
The Blue and White maintained its 1-0 lead until the 42nd minute when Rosemont's Greg Sauer outjumped Cabrini's defense on a corner kick, heading the ball past Cabrini freshman goaltender
R.J. Pino, evening the score at 1-1.
The score remained even through the second half as neither team could convert its opportunites. The teams combined for 17 second half shots, nine on target, but both Pino and Rosemont netminder Nick Hulayew were on point. The keepers combined for nine saves in the scoreless second half.
Midway through the overtime period, it looked as though the Cavaliers would break through the Ravens' defense for the game winner as sophomore
Sean Neary and Girolamo rocked a trio of shots toward Rosemont's net.
But with 71 seconds to play, Rosemont's Patrick McElroy took a shot that was blocked and bounced right to Rodney Aguirre who fired the loose ball into the net for the win.
Girolamo led the Blue and White with six shots on the night, while the trio of Neary, Lambritsios and junior
C.J. Doherty recorded six of Cabrini's 14 shots.
Junior Erick Nowicki posted one save before leaving due to injury. Pino recorded five saves in the loss.
The Cavaliers will return to action on Wednesday, when they travel to Immaculata University. The CSAC tilt is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m.
