ROSEMONT, Pa. – The Cabrini College men's basketball team matched its season high offensive output tonight as it improved to 6-3 overall with an 89-73 win at Rosemont College. The Cavaliers used solid shooting and a dominating rebounding performance to improve to 3-1 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference.

Jeremy Knowles added 11 points and 8 rebounds.
For the game, the Cavaliers shot a season high 54.2% from the floor and outrebounded the Ravens 42-24, including 17 on the offensive glass, leading to a 25-5 advantage in second chance points.
While the Ravens grabbed an early five point lead, the Cavaliers responded with a 8-0 run, including a pair of Rafferty three pointers to gain a lead they would not relinquish. Just minutes later, senior
Goran Dulac finished a lay-up, capping an 8-2 run as the Cavaliers built a 24-14 lead midway through the first half.
As the pace of the game quickened, Cabrini extended its lead as high as 19 points. The Blue and White led 41-25 after the opening 20 minutes. Rafferty and Williams combined for 21 of Cabrini's first half points, including the team's five three pointers. Defensively, the Cavaliers held Rosemont to 33% shooting and 0-8 from behind the three point line.

DeLeon Floyd gave Cabrini a 20 point lead at 67-47 with 9:19 to play. Just over a minute later, a Williams steal and lay-up extended the advantage. Freshman
Ryan Charity's first career bucket, a put back with just over two minutes to play, gave the Cavaliers their largest lead of the night at 22 points.

Brad Fagan chipped in with eight points apiece. Floyd grabbed a season high nine rebounds, while Knowles paired eight boards with three assists and three steals.
Derrick Carter led four Ravens (6-3, 2-2 CSAC) in double figure scoring with 15 points. Kiwan Murray and Jashaun Fontanez added 13 points each in the loss.
The Cavaliers will take an extended break for final exams and the Christmas holiday. They will return to game action on Sunday, December 30 when they welcome Wesleyan University (6-4) to Nerney Field House. The action is slated to begin at 1:00 p.m.
