RADNOR, Pa. – For the first time since March 8, 2009, there was no jubilation on the Cabrini sideline following a men's basketball game.  That was the last time the Cavaliers lost a game on their Nerney Field House floor.  After 44 home victories and 45 home conference wins, the Blue and White lost to the Immaculata University Mighty Macs 66-60.  The loss drops Cabrini to 4-3 overall and 1-1 in the CSAC.

Junior Fran Rafferty led five Cavaliers in double figures with 13 points.  Freshman Arron Goodman recorded his sixth career double double with 12 points and 13
rebounds.  Seniors A.J. Williams and Jeremy Knowles matched Goodman with a dozen points.

The Mighty Macs built an early eight point lead before a 30 second timeout helped refocus the Blue and White.   Minutes later, the Cavaliers grabbed the lead at 19-16 after back to back Knowles three pointers.  But for a few seconds, Cabrini held on to a slim lead for the remainder of the half.  Immaculata's Nelson Torres knifed through Cabrini's defense for a lay-up at the buzzer, sending the teams into halftime with Cabrini leading 29-28.

Neither team could really get its offense going in the opening stanza, both shooting under 32.2% from the floor.  The teams combined to shoot 9-27 from three point range and 10-18 from the free throw line.  Williams' nine first half points and a 30-20 rebounding advantage kept the Blue and White in the lead.

An early 8-2 run extended Cabrini's lead back to a comfortable seven points.  A Torres lay-up again cut the lead to a single point.  This time the Blue and White responded with a 12-2 spurt over six plus minutes, building its largest lead of the game at 49-38.  Just as Torres took control of the Mighty Macs offense, the Cavaliers offense began to struggle.  Led by 11 points from the senior, the Mighty Macs outscored Cabrini 29-11 over the game's final nine minutes.  The Blue and White connected on just 3-16 from the floor to close the game.

Cabrini shot just 34% from the floor on the night, including 7-21 from beyond the three point arc, and 50% from the free throw line.

Torres led Immaculata with 22 points, while juniors Adam Jones and Brandon Smith combined for 31 points and 15 rebounds.

The Blue and White's previous home loss came in a 79-67 loss to Washington & Jefferson College in the 2009 ECAC South Region Championship game, ending the 2008-09 campaign.  On November 21, 2009, the Cavaliers posted a 77-69 win over Penn State Altoona in their home-opener to open the streak.

Cabrini's last loss to a conference foe came on January 31, 2008, when Gwynedd-Mercy College emerged with a 74-68 victory.  Two days later, the Cavliers rebounded to top the Mighty Macs 69-59 to open its CSAC run.

The Cavaliers will look to rebound on Saturday as they pay a visit to Baptist Bible College.  The CSAC tilt is scheduled to tip at 3:00 p.m.
