HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – The Cabrini College softball team dropped to 4-4 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) and 9-13 overall after today's 8-0 and 5-0 losses at Centenary College. The Cavaliers managed just six hits in the doubleheader.
The Cyclones (10-8, 6-0 CSAC) took control of game one in the first inning, opening the bottom of the first inning with four consecutive single, leading to four runs. Centenary added a run in the second for a 4-0 lead.

Ryan McDonough drew a walk. Unfortunately the Blue and White could not come through with the big hit.
Three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning secured the game one 8-0 win for the Cyclones.
Cabrini's offense struggled early in the second game, as no Cavalier reached base until McDonough's fourth inning single. In the mean time, Centenary posted three runs in the first and two in the third for a 5-0 lead.
The Cavaliers got runners on first and third in the fifth inning, but stranded both at the end of the frame.
Miller and Atzert each recorded base hits in both games.
The Cavaliers will look to get its offense back on track on Saturday at Cabrini Field, where Cabrini is 4-2. The Blue and White will host Philadelphia Biblical University for a CSAC doubleheader. First pitch is scheduled for 12:00 p.m.
