DOVER, Del. –
The Cabrini College men's basketball team will open 2013 tonight with a tough road test as it travels to Dover, Del. to face the Wesley College Wolverines. The game is scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m. at Wesley's Wentworth Gymnasium.

Today's game marks the teams' first meeting since December 4, 2006 when both schools were members of the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference.  Wesley joined Cabrini in the PAC in September 1997 and remained until January 2006 when it joined the Capital Athletic Conference.

The Cavaliers and Wolverines matched wits 18 times during their years in the PAC, with the Blue and White claiming 13 victories.  Cabrini claimed the first 12 meetings in the series, with Wesley securing the last four.

Cabrini improved to 7-3 on the season with Sunday's 87-69 nonconference win over the visiting Wesleyan University Cardinals.  After shaking off some early rust, the Cavaliers used a 13-1 run midway through the first half to assume control of the game.  The Blue and White held Wesleyan to 4-20 from beyond the three point arc and turned 16 turnovers into 25 points, while committing a season-low six turnovers of its own.

In his first action of the season, sophomore Aaron Walton-Moss led the Cavaliers with a career-high 26 points in just 15 minutes on the floor.  The guard shot 10-12 off the bench, including 2-3 from three point range.  Senior Jeremy Knowles added 13 points, while junior Fran Rafferty chipped in with 11 points.

Through 10 games, Rafferty leads the team with 13.2 points per game, just 0.5 points above senior A.J. Williams' 12.7 points.  The junior's .926 free throw percentage also ranks him among the 10 best free throw shooters in the nation.   Senior Goran Dulac leads the club on the boards, pairing 6.9 rebounds with his 7.2 points per contest.  Rafferty joins Dulac at the top of the team's rebounding list with 5.5 caroms.

The Wolverines sport a 10-4 mark entering today's game, riding a five game win streak including a 72-70 win over then No. 1 Virginia Wesleyan on December 20.  In their most recent action, the Wolverines overpowered Fisher College 90-55.

Senior Paul Reynolds stuffed the stat sheet to the tune of a career-high 34 points on 13-19 from the floor and 6-8 from the free throw line.  The senior forward also grabbed 11 rebounds, handed out six assists and recorded four steals.  Five other Wolverines tallied at least seven points, including freshman guard Wayne Lennon and junior forward Leo Rogers who added 11 points, each.

Reynolds' 18.3 points per game lead the team and rank third in the Capital Athletic Conference.  Reigning CAC Player of the Week junior center David Langan and junior guard Jacquard Hagan post just south of 12 points per night, with 11.9 and 11.8, respectively.  Langan and Reynolds also rank among the best rebounders in the conference.   Langan leads the league with 9.8 caroms, while Reynolds ranks fourth with 7.3.
