RADNOR, Pa. – The Cabrini College men's basketball team rebounded from Saturday's loss to overpower the Baptist Bible College Defenders 93-47 tonight at Nerney Field House. The victory improves the Blue and White to 12-5 overall and 8-2 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference.
In his first career start sophomore
Howard Blake III posted a career high 16 points, including 4-7 from three point range, in just 18 minutes of play. Freshman
John White matched Blake with a career high 16 points off the bench in just 15 minutes of action. Junior
Fran Rafferty added 11 points in the win.
For the second time this season, the Cavaliers debuted a new starting line-up against the Defenders and for the second time it paid off with a great start. Blake and Rafferty opened the game with back-to-back three pointers and the Blue and White never looked back. The duo scored Cabrini's first 18 points as the Cavaliers built a 10 point lead 7:37 into the game.
The Cavaliers put the game away early as they went on a 27-0 run during an 8:18 span of the first half. After 20 minutes, the Blue and White built a 47-11 lead.
Cabrini connected on 58% of their field goal attempts, including 7-16 from three point range. The Cavaliers also recorded assists on 13 of their 18 first half buckets. Conversely, the Defenders struggled from the field, hitting just 4-25 from the floor in the first half.
The Blue and White never allowed the Defenders to get off the mat in the second half as Cabrini hit 16-30 from the floor after the break. The Cavaliers were able to get significant playing time for everyone, as all 13 players saw action in the second half.

Jon Miller and freshman
Brad Fagan who tallied nine points each. Junior
Corey Frizzera and senior
DeLeon Floyd added eight points each.
The Blue and White also dominated the glass, outrebounding Baptist Bible 41-28. Sophomore
Aaron Walton-Moss and Floyd grabbed game-high honors with eight boards each. Senior
Goran Dulac secured five caroms, while junior
Tim McDaniels and Fagan grabbed four each.
Walton-Moss and McDaniels also recorded four assist each as Cabrini tallied a season high 25 assists.
Junior Dan Dodd led the Defenders (3-13, 1-9 CSAC) with 13 points and seven rebounds. Freshmen Abe Valentine and Dan Decker added seven points each.
The Blue and White will return to action on Wednesday when they welcome the Centenary College Cyclones (8-9, 5-5 CSAC). Knowles' 14 points led Cabrini to a 65-58 win in the teams' previous meeting this season.
