HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – The Cabrini men's soccer team's six match win streak came to an end today as the Cavaliers fell to the Centenary College Cyclones 1-0 at Hackettstown High School. The loss, the Blue and White's first since September 14, evens the club's overall record to 6-6-2, including 3-1 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference.
The clubs played an even opening 45 minutes of action, combining for just five first half shots and no corner kicks. The Cyclones turned up the pressure after the break, accounting for nine of the second half's 13 shots.
The game's lone tally came in the 50th minute when Centenary's Nick DePasquale connected on a crossing pass. The Blue and White's best chance at a game-tying goal came off the foot of senior
C.J. Doherty but his attempt found the cross bar.

The Cavaliers will return to action on Thursday when they welcome Neumann University (7-3-2, 3-0 CSAC) to Edith Robb Dixon Field. The action is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.
