RADNOR, Pa. – The Cabrini men's soccer team moved into a three way tie for first place in the Colonial States Athletic Conference with today's 3-0 win over the visiting Immaculata University Mighty Macs at Edith Robb Dixon Field. With the win, the Cavaliers improve to 9-6-2 overall and 6-1 in the CSAC.
With just two matches remaining in the regular season, the Blue and White are tied with Marywood and Centenary with 18 points each. While Cabrini suffered a 1-0 loss at Centenary, Marywood will visit Edith Robb Dixon Field on Saturday.

C.J. Doherty opened the scoring in the 27th minute when freshman
A.J. Bishop found the senior alone in front of the goal. Despite owning a 6-1 advantage in first half shots, Doherty's goal was the lone tally on the score sheet.
Freshman
Bobby Kane doubles Cabrini's lead in the 63rd minute as he converted a pass from senior
Brett Lockbaum for his third career tally. The Blue and White put the match on ice in the 83rd minute when Bishop's rocket found the back of the net after a pass from Doherty.
The Cavaliers recorded 16 shots in the match, including three each by Doherty and Bishop. Kane and fellow freshman
Tyler Bond attempted two each.
Sophomore goaltender C.J. Pino posted a pair of saves to record his second career shutout.
Freshman goaltender Joseph Lubonski made five saves for the Mighty Macs (2-14, 1-7 CSAC).
Cabrini will return to action on Saturday as it hosts Marywood in a battle for first place. Prior to the match, the Cavaliers will celebrate the careers of its seven seniors,
Ryan Cerrato, Doherty,
Joe Halbherr,
Gabe Kuhn, Lockbaum, Magerr and
Eric Nowicki. The match is slated for 1:00 p.m.
