RADNOR, Pa. – The Cabrini College men's basketball team sent its seniors off the Nerney Field House floor with a 96-66 win over the visiting Rosemont Ravens this afternoon in the Blue and White's regular season home finale. The victory improves Cabrini to 19-5 on the season and 15-2 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference.
Today's game marked the final regular season home game for Cabrini seniors

A.J. Williams. The group has helped the Blue and White to a record of 99-16, including 65-5 in the CSAC and 54-1 at Nerney Field House. Including today's action, they have scored 2,416 points and grabbed 1,257 rebounds while leading the Blue and White to three consecutive conference crowns and the College's first ever appearance in a National Championship game.
The win was a balanced effort as the Cavaliers recorded its second highest scoring output of the season. Cabrini connected on a season high 57.6% from the floor and 50% from three point range. The Blue and White's 24 assists on 38 field goals are second most this season, while Cabrini's 13 steals mark a season best.
While Cabrini's five seniors were in the starting line-up, 13 of the 14 players who saw action recorded at least two points. Junior
Fran Rafferty led the club with 17 points, including 5-6 from three point range. Fellow junior
Jon Miller added 13 points on 5-5 shooting. Miller has now gone 21-24 from the floor in the Cavaliers' last five ball games.
The Ravens opened the scoring with a three pointer by senior Derrick Carter before the Cavaliers scored the next seven. Minutes later, another Rosemont three secured the lead but Rafferty's first three pointer of the game sent the Cavaliers on a 12-0 spurt. Miller's lay-up gave Cabrini a 21-11 lead with 12:42 to play in the opening half.
The Ravens hung tough, not allowing Cabrini to pull away. The Blue and White advantage ranged from 6-11 for the remainder of half, as the Cavaliers carried a 44-36 lead into the break. Cabrini shot nearly 57% in the first half, while holding the Ravens to 12-32 from the floor. The Blue and White also forced 12 turnovers and converted them into 19 points in the opening 20 minutes.
While the Ravens got within six points early in the second half, the Cavaliers blew the game open with a five minute 16-2 run. A pair of Rafferty treys culminated the spurt as the Blue and White extended its lead to 69-47 with 10:45 on the clock.
Williams closed the game with 12 points and matched a career high with five steals. Sophomore
Aaron Walton-Moss matched Williams with 12 points, while handing out a game high six assists and tallying three steals. Knowles added eight points. Dulac and Floyd grabbed a game high seven rebounds each and combined for 13 points.
Carter led the Ravens (9-14, 4-12 CSAC) with a game high 26 points, including 4-6 from deep, to go with his five rebounds and three blocked shots. Fellow senior Justin Chaney added nine points in the loss.
The Cavaliers will close their regular season on Wednesday when they travel to Scranton, Pa. to face the Marywood University Pacers (6-18, 5-12 CSAC). Game time is slated for 7:00 p.m.
A victory in Wednesday's finale would give Cabrini the 20th 20-win season in the program's 39 year history, and its fifth consecutive under head coach Marcus Kahn. The win would also give the Class of 2013 its 100th career victory.
The Blue and White secured a tight 68-63 win over the Pacers in their previous meeting on January 12 at Nerney Field House. The Pacers kept the game close by slowing the game to a crawl, as the Cavaliers attempted just 52 field goals, one off their season low. Williams led Cabrini with 16 points, while Knowles and Walton-Moss added 14 and 13, respectively.
