READING, Pa. – After struggling to open the season, the Cabrini men's soccer team has begun to find its stride, earning its second consecutive win today.   The Cavaliers improved to 2-5-2 with tonight's 3-1 win at Albright College.

The Blue and White jumped out early as senior Brett Lockbaum tallied an unassisted goal in the fourth minute, second of the season.  Cabrini added to its lead in the 36th minute as a shot by freshman Tyler Bond hit the post and bounced to fellow rookie Logan Howell who put the rebound into the net for his first collegiate goal.

Taking a 2-0 lead into the second half, freshman A.J. Bishop scored his second career goal in the 55th minute giving the Blue and White a 3-0 cushion.  The Lions added a goal in the 68th minute, but the Cavaliers held strong.

Freshman Bobby Kane led the Cavaliers with three of their 14 shots on the night, while Bishop, Lockbaum and junior Christian Martin added two each.  Senior Eric Nowicki recorded four saves to collect the win.

Tyler Waters score the lone goals for Albright (4-3-2).

The Blue and White will return to Edith Robb Dixon Field on Saturday when it will face Delaware Valley College as part of Homecoming 2013.  Game time is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
