RADNOR, Pa. – The Cabrini field hockey team stepped out of Colonial States Athletic Conference play tonight, but it didn't slow down its offensive production, as the Cavaliers matched a season high eight goals in tonight's win over Delaware Valley College.
The 8-1 victory at Edith Robb Dixon Field improved the Blue and White to 8-3 on the season.
The victory also extended the club's win streak to seven games, the program's longest win streak since a run of 13 consecutive wins in 2008.
Junior
Kerry Anne Farrell matched a career high with eight points, pairing her third consecutive hat trick with two assists.
With her second goal of the night, the junior also joined a short list of Cabrini players to record 50 career goals, accomplishing the feat in just 47 games.
Senior
Karlie Gruccio also posted a hat trick, the first of her career, while sophomore
Taylor Mack handed out a career best three assists.

Danielle Palatano and freshman
Jackie Neary added a goal and an assist each. For Palatano, the goal marked the second of her career, while Neary's tally was her first.

Taylor Bookman recorded four saves to improve to 7-3 on the season.
Cabrini jumped out to an early lead, as Palatano found Farrell in the third minute. Four minutes later, Farrell returned the favor on Palatano's tally. Mack and Gruccio hooked up just 36 seconds later, and the Cavaliers were off and running.
Neary found Gruccio in the 30th minute, as Cabrini carried a 4-0 advantage into the halftime break.
The Aggies wasted little time getting on the scoreboard after the break, as freshman Kara Imes scored just 37 seconds into the second frame.
The Blue and White put the game away a few minutes later, scoring four goals in a span of nine minutes between the 42nd and 51st minutes.
The Cavaliers will return to action on Saturday, as it returns to CSAC play with a trip to Cedar Crest College (0-11, 0-4 CSAC). Game time is slated for 1:00 p.m. in Allentown, Pa.
