RADNOR, Pa. – The Cabrini volleyball team closed its regular season home slate with a bang tonight, as it scored a 3-0 victory over the visiting Notre Dame of Maryland University Gators.
With the victory, the Cavaliers improve to 23-5 on the season and extend their program record win streak to 17 matches.
The win also closes the team's Colonial States Athletic Conference schedule a perfect 11-0 for the second consecutive season. The Blue and White has now won 26 consecutive regular season CSAC contests and 64 of its last 66 conference matches.
Tonight's match also marked Senior Night for the Cavaliers, as they celebrated the careers of its seniors
Amy Guarino and
Dana Wisniewski. The duo has led Cabrini 94 victories, including the 2011 and 2013 CSAC Championships.
The duo has accounted for 395 kills, 207 assists, 314 digs and 90 blocks in their 123 matches played in the Blue and White.
From the opening serve, Cabrini controlled the action in the 25-14, 25-6, 25-20 victory. The Cavaliers' seniors led the club to victory tonight. Guarino tallied her 12th double-double with a match high 10 kills and 11 assists. Wisnieski added a season high six kills and two total blocks.

Anne-Marie Jones added six kills, one more than junior
Jen Grenauer, who also recorded three blocks. Junior
Cassidy Koenig tallied 25 kills, while sophomore
Kelly Guarino scored 10 digs.
Freshman
Chelsea Jones also recorded a career high three service aces.
The Cavaliers will close the regular season on Saturday as they travel to Lancaster for the Franklin & Marshall College Tri-Match. Cabrini will face Dickinson College (6-14, 2-7 Centennial) at 2 p.m. and the host Diplomats (16-11, 5-4 Centennial) at 4 p.m.
