RADNOR, Pa. - The Blue and White will welcome Arcadia (13-19, 4-10 Commonwealth) to Cabrini Field today for a doubleheader at 3 p.m.
The Cavaliers split games against the Knights last season, scoring a 10-8 victory in game one before falling 4-3 in the nightcap.
In game one, the Cavaliers trailed 7-2 after two innings but a seven run third inning for the Blue and White put the team back on top. Junior

Natalie Giannascoli picked up an RBI single to bring the Cavaliers to within one run. The Blue and White scored three more runs in the inning on a combined seven hits to re-take the lead.
Dietrich added an RBI single in the fifth to extend the lead to 10-7. Arcadia got a run back in the bottom half, but that would be the last run scored in the game for the Knights.
Sophomore
Taylor Gallagher earned the win after pitching a complete game in the circle. The sophomore allowed six earned runs on 17 hits and a walk.
Miles led the way with a four RBI day, while Dietrich was 4-5 with a triple and two RBI.
In the second game, the Cavaliers and Knights got off to a slow start, as the game didn't see its first run until the bottom of the fourth inning. Dietrich singled in the top of the fifth inning to tie the game. Sophomore
Lindsay Savar followed with a sacrifice fly to left field to put the Blue and White on top.
The Knights scored two runs in the sixth on two hits to re-take the lead. In the bottom half, Dietrich tallied another triple, plating sophomore
Brianna Milillo, before the Cavaliers surrendered the game winning run in the seventh.
Dietrich went 3-4 at the plate and notched a pair of RBI, while Milillo was a perfect 3-3 in the box and added two runs scored.
The Cabrini softball team improved to 19-7 and 15-3 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference after going 6-1 last week. The Blue and White offense has been rolling and has outscored its last two opponents 40-5.
Cabrini swept the Keystone Giants on Saturday, topping the Giants 10-2 and 10-0. Savar and Miles combined to knock in six of the team's 10 runs to help lead the Blue and White to victory in game one.
The Cavaliers opened the scoring in the first inning on Miles' sacrifice fly. The Giants scored a run in the third inning but Miles answered with a two run homer in the bottom half. Enoch followed with a two run single down the left field line. Freshman
Christine Ferraro added another RBI following an infield single to put the Cavaliers on top 6-1.
In the fourth, Savar sent one over the left field wall for a three run home run. The Cavaliers scored once more in the inning as freshman
Jess Giordano crossed home plate on a fielder's choice.
The eight run rule came into effect in the fifth after holding the Giants to just one run on four hits. Giordano Improved to 5-2 in the circle and notched six strikeouts in the win.
Enoch went 2-3 at the plate and tallied a pair of RBI, while Ferraro and Millillo each scored an RBI in the win.
The Blue and White stayed hot in game two, earning 10 runs on nine hits. Giannascoli doubled in the bottom of the second inning to open the games scoring. A pair of Keystone errors in the third extended the Cavalier lead to 3-0.
Dietrich added a two run double in the fourth, as Giannascoli and sophomore
Taylor Mack crossed home plate. A passed ball plated Ferraro. Senior
Steph Diegel added a sacrifice fly, before Gallagher homered to left field for three more Cavalier runs.
Freshman
Kaitlyn Hohman retired the side in the fifth to see her team to victory. The rookie improved to 7-1 on the season with the win and surrendered just two hits on 16 batters faced.
Dietrich went 2-3 at the plate and added a double and a stolen base, while Gallagher led the way with three RBI after notching her first round tripper on the year.
Dietrich leads the Cavaliers with a team high .455 batting average, three triples. Diegel's .450 batting average is second on the club, while she leads the CSAC with 34 RBI and ranks second with six home runs. Cooper is not far behind with four homers and 27 RBI, while batting .400.
Giordano ranks fourth in the CSAC with an ERA of 2.49, while her 17 runs allowed is the third fewest in the conference. Hohman's seven wins are tied for fourth in the CSAC.
Arcadia has lost five of their last eight games and come to Cabrini Field after splitting games against Hood. The Knights fell to the Blazers 3-2 in game one but captured the split after notching a 4-2 victory in the nightcap.
The Blazers scored one run in the second inning and added two more in the fourth. The Knights answered with a run in the fifth and sixth innings but fell just short to the Blazers.
Freshman Amanda Hess was 3-4 at the plate, including a double in the bottom of the sixth inning.
It was a slow start for both teams in game two, as the game remained scoreless through five innings of play. Hood added a pair of runs in the sixth but Arcadia answered, scoring four runs on three hits in the bottom half.
Sophomore Laura Christine held Hood scoreless in the seventh inning to ice the Blazers. The sophomore pitched a complete game to even her record at 6-6, surrendering two runs and struck out a pair of batters.
Five Knights notched a hit in the win, including freshman Nicole Iasiello led the way with a pair of RBI.
Senior Jessica Shotwell leads the team with a batting average of .432, while her 27 runs scored ties senior Nicki Larro for first on the team. Larro also leads the team with 27 RBI and 37 hits.
Erin Wilson is 5-10 in the circle and leads the team with 14 complete games, 97.1 innings pitched, 80 strikeouts and owns an ERA of 3.33.
