IMMACULATA, PA – The Cabrini volleyball team completed its fourth consecutive undefeated conference schedule and its sixth in the last eight years with Friday's 3-0 win at Immaculata.
The victory evened the Cavaliers' overall record at 14-14 and closed its Colonial States Athletic Conference slate a perfect 11-0, extending its CSAC win streak to 48 matches.
The win also solidifies the number one seed in next week's CSAC Tournament and a first round bye. The Blue and White will open the tournament on Thursday at Nerney Field House against the lowest remaining seed
from Tuesday's first round.
The Cavaliers posted a balanced attack in the 25-16, 25-13, 25-23 victory with four players recording at least six kills and four with at least eight digs.
Freshman
Emily Stokarski led the way with her fifth double-double, pairing 28 assists and 11 digs.
Senior
Kelly Guarino earned match high honors with nine kills and six service aces to go with 12 digs. Sophomore
Emily Shannon added eight kills, while junior
Anne-Marie Jones tallied seven kills and eight digs.
Junior
Kaylee Plisinski recorded six kills, while sophomore
Ashley Shannon chipped in with 10 digs.
Gabrielle Guerrera and Arden Vizzard led Immaculata (9-15, 6-5 CSAC) with seven kills each and combined for 24 digs.
The Cavaliers will return to action on Saturday as they head to Annville, PA for a tri-match. Cabrini will face host Lebanon Valley (20-8, 6-2 MAC Commonwealth) at 11am and Lancaster Bible (15-17, 8-5 NEAC) at 1pm.
