RADNOR, Pa. – The Cabrini men's lacrosse team displayed a full team effort tonight, as it opened Colonial States Athletic Conference play with a convincing 27-1 win over Neumann University at Edith Robb Dixon Field.
With the victory, the No. 12 Cavaliers improved to 6-3 overall, snapping its three game losing streak, while extending its CSAC win streak to 95 games.
A total of 17 Cavaliers marked the scoring column, with 15 notching at least one goal. Sophomore
James Magnani led the Blue and White with six points on five goals and an assist, while freshman
Jordan Krug paired three goals and two assists.
In just his second action of the season, freshman
John Durkin scored his first career goal and finished the day with two goals and two assists, matching junior
Evan Downey. Sophomore
Nile Luma and freshman
Nicholas Waligurski added three points each, with both notching their first career goals.

Billy Morgan netted two goals each, with Morgan's tallies matching the first of his collegiate career. Senior

Joe Simpson recorded their first goals of the 2016 campaign, with Simpson's marking his first career goal.
Cabrini's offense began with a dominant performance at the faceoff spot, as the Blue and White went 28-31. Senior
Chris Schneekloth led the way, winning eight of his nine chances with four ground balls. Simpson went 7-8 and shared game high honors with Downey and Hopson with five ground balls. Sophomore
Riley Michaels went a perfect 7-7, while freshman
Trey Critides won six of seven chances.
The Blue and White's defensive effort matched its offensive output, as Cabrini allowed just seven Neumann shots. Hopson led the defense with four caused turnovers, while senior
Brian Kittredge and freshman
TJ Reiley caused two Neumann miscues each.

Riley White earned the victory in the Cabrini cage, while sophomore
Justin Bullivant recorded two saves in his 30 minutes of action.
Sophomore Adam Fagan scored the lone goal for the Knights (15, 0-1 CSAC), while junior Ryan Lee accounted for three of Neumann's seven shots. Freshman Xavier Glanzel paired five ground balls and three caused turnovers. Sophomore Antonio Gibson added 12 saves and secured four ground balls.
The Cavaliers will look to continue their conference win streak on Saturday, as the Blue and White welcomes Keystone College (0-5, 0-1 CSAC) to Edith Robb Dixon Field in the second half of a CSAC doubleheader.
The Cabrini women's lacrosse team (5-3, 3-0 CSAC) will host Rosemont College (1-8, 0-4 CSAC) at 12 Noon, with the men to take the pitch at 3 p.m.
