SALISBURY, MD – The Cabrini field hockey team faced its third top 10 opponent and fourth ranked opponent of the season today, as the Cavaliers visiting No. 6 Salisbury University. The Blue and White fell to 2-5 on the year after tonight's 6-0 loss to the Seagulls, who improved to 5-1.
Salisbury imposed its will on the Cavaliers from the opening whistle, scoring three goals in the opening 13:40 of play. The lead expanded to 4-0 in the 29th minute as the Blue and White struggled to find its offense.
Cabrini failed to record a shot on the night and forced just four penalty corners. Conversely, Salisbury tallied 29 shots, including 23 on net, and attempted 17 penalty corners.

Taylor Bookman recorded a career best 15 saves, her third outing this season with at least 10 saves. Senior

The Cavaliers will look to regroup before returning to action on Wednesday, when they host Stevens institute of Technology (4-2). The opening whistle is scheduled for 4pm at Edith Robb Dixon Field.
