BETHLEHEM, PA – The Cabrini volleyball team captures its fourth consecutive win tonight, as the Cavaliers earned a 3-1 win at Moravian College.
With the win, the Blue and White improved to 4-8, while Moravian fell to 9-7.
Cabrini boasted a balanced attack in the 22-25, 25-19, 25-23, 25-23 victory, with four players recording at least 10 kills and five with double-figure digs.
Senior
Kelly Guarino led the way with 11 kills and a career high 31 digs for third double-double in four matches. Sophomore
Ashley Shannon also reached her fifth double-double of the season, pairing 10 kills and career best 19 digs.
Freshman
Emily Stokarski added her second double-double of the year, tallying 41 assists and 22 digs, while sophomore
Emily Shannon recorded a career high 31 digs.
Junior Anne-Marie jones added a season high 13 kills, while classmate
Kaylee Plisinski notched a career best 11 kills. Freshman
Alexandra Schell also recorded a career high with 11 digs.
The Cavaliers have little time to enjoy the win, as they return to action on Wednesday. The Blue and White will make the short trip down the Main Line to face Rosemont College (0-11, 0-4 CSAC). The Colonial States Athletic Conference match is slated to begin at 7pm.
