Final Results
Mullica Hill, NJ - The Cabrini men's and women's cross country teams competed in their last race before the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) championship this morning at Rowan University.
The Inter-Regional Border Battle featured 28 men's teams and 27 women's teams from across the region. On the men's side, the Cavs raced to a 28th place finish, while the women placed 26th.
Junior
Andrew Sennett paced the Cavs on the day as the Woodbury native completed the course in 29:25.6, good enough for a 203rd place finish. Freshman
Chris Giacobbe finished just over four minutes behind Sennett to place second for the Blue and White with a time of 33:39.1. Sophomore
Tyree Holmes rounded out the top three for Cabrini with a time of 35:32.9.
On the women's side, junior
Mackenzie Patterson led the way with a 202nd place finish, as she completed the 6K course in 27:02.8. Freshman
Emma Rodner-Tims debuted with a 224th place finish and a time of 29:54.2.
Junior
Jordan Horsley (32:36.0), and freshmen duo
Kass Kelly (37:25.6) and
Deanna Wyche (51:17.0) rounded out the finishers for the Blue and White who placed 229, 238 and 239, respectively.
As mentioned, the Cavaliers will next race at the CSAC Championships on Saturday, Oct. 28th at Coatesville, PA. Race time is slated to begin at 11am.
