Brendan Ainscoe shifted gears during his race, passing nine runners in the last two miles before crossing the finish line at 31:13.
Jenrry Millan Flores collected another sub-32 performance, maintaining his place after a 5:45 opening mile.
Alek Kusmirek broke 35 minutes and earned a personal best 34:49 behind a steady race from start to finish.
Sam Debany maintained his pace en route to a personal best 38:54. Debany nearly shed 5 minutes off his season opening 8k.
