Cabrini XC Eyes Final Finish Line

The Cavaliers' last race will take place tomorrow at the DIII Metro Regional meet.

On Saturday, November 11th, Cabrini Cross Country will conclude their ultimate campaign at the DIII Region V meet.

Cabrini enters a team of Brendan Ainscoe, Sam Debany, Zack Donlen, Alek Kusmirek, Conor Loven, Jenrry Millan Flores, and Sam Frederick.

Brendan Ainscoe, twice named to the AEC All-Academic team, enters Saturday with a personal best time of 31:23. Ainscoe ran his PR on DREAM Park's course during this year's Border Battle.

Sam Debany, also a two-time Atlantic East All-Academic team member, has the chance to beat his personal best time of 39:10. Debany ran his career best mark at the Dan Talbot Open in October of last season.

Zack Donlen, named the Atlantic East Runner of the Week on October 9th, will look to improve upon a personal best time of 29:33. The 2x AEC All-Academic team member claimed his PR at the Border Battle this year.

Alek Kusmirek shaved 2 minutes off his 8k this season after running his career best time of 36:12 at the Atlantic East Championship race. 

Conor Loven has a chance to break 30:00 on Saturday, as the freshman ran his personal best time of 30:46 at the Border Battle four weeks ago.

Jenrry Millan Flores also aims to crack 30:00, as the sophomore claimed his career best mark of 30:49 at this season's Border Battle held on DREAM Park's course.

Sam Frederick boasts her career best 6k of 27:26 from her performance at Metros her sophomore season. That same year, the three time AEC All-Academic team member earned All-Conference honors after placing 12th in the Championship Meet.
 

2023 Season-to-date 

September 1st, 2023 - Cabrini opened their season with a 5k race, placing 6th of 8 schools at the Bryn Mawr Invitational.

September 30th, 2023 - Few points separated the Cavaliers from other teams as the Cavs placed 9th of 17 schools at PSU-Abington's Invitational.

Brief Program History

Cabrini Men's and Women's Cross Country each had their inaugural season in 1983, and have combined to claim 10 Conference Championships. 

Cabrini Men's Cross Country earned PAC/CSAC Titles in 1992, '97, '98, '99, '00, and '07. The Cavaliers also made back to back NCAA Championship appearances in 2007 and 2008.

Cabrini Women's Cross Country won the PAC/CSAC Championship in 1992, '93, '97, and '98. 

In the Cavaliers' final campaign, 4th year coach and 2019 Cabrini alum Andrew Sennett led the Cavs to a 3rd place finish at the Atlantic East Championship Meet.
