Center Valley, PA - The Cabrini cross country teams competed in the DeSales University Invitational today where the men finished 25th
out of 28 teams, while junior
Mackenzie Patterson led the way for the women.
Junior
Andrew Sennett paced the Cavalier men in the Center Valley, PA course, completing the 8K race in 29:32:6, seven seconds faster than his time at the Dickinson Invitational. Sennett's time was good enough for a 122nd place finish out of a total of 271 runners.
Freshmen
Jacob Montenegro and
Chris Giacobbe claimed the second and third best finishes for the Cavs, as they completed the course in 31:47.1 and 34:57.0, respectively
.
As mentioned, Patterson paced the women as she placed 142nd out of 225 runners, completing the 6K circuit in 29:10.2, tops amongst the women.
Fellow junior
Jordan Horsley, freshmen
Shaiann Lyde and
Kass Kelly rounded out the finishers for the women with times of
33:53.5, 39:00.8 and 40:47.2, respectively.
The Cavaliers will next travel to Glassboro, NJ to compete in the Inter-Regional Border Battle hosted by Rowan University. A start time has yet to be announced.
