Last Meeting: Early advantage leads to 98-74 win at Immaculata (1/25/2017, Immaculata, PA)
Cabrini held the Mighty Macs to just 7-33 shooting, including 4-17 from three point range, in the first half, as the Cavaliers built a commanding 40-21 halftime lead.

Nine Cavaliers scored north of five points, with four in double-figures and three with double-doubles. Senior Tyheim Monroe led the Blue and White with 17 points and 19 rebounds, while classmates Deryl Bagwell and DeVahnte Mosley combined for 29 points and 22 boards.

Junior Mike Piekarski recorded 11 points and 11 rebounds as one of three Mighty Macs to record double digit points, while joining Roy Ferrell Jr. with double-doubles. Sophomore Jordan Ambrose added eight points and five boards in the loss.

Cabrini Last Time Out: Late three pointer secures 71-67 win over Scranton (11/29/2017, Radnor, PA)
A Bagwell drive and dish set up junior Ivan Robinson's game-winning three pointer with 12 seconds to play, as the Cavaliers scored a thrilling 71-67 win over Scranton.  In a game that featured 16 lead changes and nine ties, neither team led by more than five points in the back and forth battle.

The Blue and White shot just 12-38 from the field and 3-12 from the three point line in the first half, but found its shooting touch after the break, connecting on 51.6% of its second half shot attempts.

All five of the Cavaliers' starters scored in double figures in the victory, with Monroe leading the way with 19 points and 16 rebounds.  Bagwell stuffed the stat sheet with 14 points, seven rebounds and six assists.  Robinson and freshman DJ Smith added 12 points each, while sophomore Keith Blassingale chipped in with 10 points.  

Immaculata Last Time Out: Mighty Macs pull away from Centenary in second half of home opener (11/29/2017, Immaculata, PA)
The Mighty Macs used a 14-2 run early in the second half to blow open a tight game, en route to a 77-61 victory on Centenary in Wednesday's home opener. Over the game's final three plus minutes, Immaculata outscored the Cyclones 54-38.

Piekarski and freshman Brandon McCullough paced the Might Macs in the victory. The junior paired 16 points, 15 rebounds and five steals for his first double-double of the season, while the rookie posted 20 points, five rebounds and five assists in 27 minutes of action.

5 Factors for Cabrini

• The Cavaliers are 8-1 in their last nine CSAC openers. Their lone loss came in an 84-64 loss at Immaculata.
• After going 11-1 in regular season games against the Mighty Macs from 2008-2014, the teams have split their last six regular season meetings. The Cavaliers, however, have won each of the last four contests.
• Monroe's 17.3 rebounds per game, four double-doubles and 5.75 offensive rebounds per game lead the country. The senior also ranks second 69 total rebounds and 11.5 defensive boards per game.
• The Blue and White commits just 11.5 turnovers per game, lowest in the CSAC and 37th in Division III.
• Blassingale currently ranks as the top three point shooter in the conference. The sophomore leads the league with a .412 three point percentage and hits a CSAC-high 3.5 triples per game.

• Piekarski, Ambrose and McCullough provide much of the Mighty Macs' offense, as each scores in double figures and combine for 40.2 of the team's 75.4 points per game.
• The Mighty Macs ranks as one of the league's top defensive clubs, as they rank second in scoring defense (72.2 points allowed) and third in field goal defense (.423).
• Piekarski 3.0 steals per game rank second in the conference and 27th in the nation, while his 15 total steals are good for 17th in Division III.
• Immaculata scored 93 points on 34 made field goals in a win over City College of New York. Both rank among the CSAC's highest offensive outputs pf the season.
• The Mighty Macs have committed at least nine turnovers in each of their fir games, including a season high 26 in Wednesday's win over Centenary.
