Last Meeting: Lions scored 2 wins over Cavaliers, 5-4, 15-1 (3/30/16, Ewing, NJ)
After building a 4-1 lead in the opener, the Blue and White offense went silent. Cabrini recorded just one hit over the game's final three innings, allowing TCNJ an opportunity to mount a comeback.

The Lions plated single runs in the fourth and fifth innings, before scoring two runs on three hits on the bottom of the seventh, as junior Madison Levine's bases loaded single ended the game.

The Cavaliers could not regain their footing in the nightcap, as they mustered just three hits. Two of Cabrini's hits came in the first inning, when the Blue and White scored its only run of the game.

TCNJ continued its hot offense from the first game, as it knocked out 12 base hits and took advantage of three Cabrini errors. The Lions recorded 12 runs in the third and fourth innings before closing the game in the fifth.

Cabrini Last Time Out: Swept Keystone in CSAC opener (3/25/17, Radnor, PA)
The Cavaliers opened CSAC play with a pair of exciting wins over Keystone on Saturday. Trailing 9-4 midway through the sixth inning, the Blue and White mounted a comeback. Cabrini scored four runs on six hits in the bottom half of the sixth, including three doubles.

Junior Lindsay Savar evened the game with a blast over the left center field fence, sending the game to extra innings.

Keystone took a brief lead in the top of the eighth before a double to center field by freshman Alexandra Schell scored senior Amber Dietrich and junior Alexandria Ramos for the 11-10 victory.

The Blue and White found itself a hole in the nightcap, trailing 3-2 in the bottom of the fifth. Cabrini broke out the bats in the bottom half of the frame, recording five consecutive hits to open the inning. RBI doubles by sophomore Marissa Alpaugh, junior Jess Giordano and Dietrich gave the Cavaliers a 6-3 lead.

Junior Jenna Rodriguez shut down the Giants offense, keeping Keystone hitless in the sixth and seventh innings to collect her first win of the season.

TCNJ Last Time Out: Split a double dip with SUNY Cortland (3/25/17, Ewing, NJ)
The Lions found themselves on the short end of a pitcher's duel in the opener. Cortland took an early lead with a solo home run in the second, before freshman Annalise Suitovsky evened the score in the fifth with her first career home run.

The lead remained 1-1 until the top of the eight when a TCNJ error allowed the eventual game-winning run to cross the plate. The Lions' comeback attempt was thwarted in the bottom of the eighth, as they stranded a runner on first.

TCNJ built an early lead in the nightcap, scoring three runs on two hits in the bottom of the third inning. The Lions added a run in the fourth before Levine's first home run of the season sealed the win.

A trio of Lions' pitcher combined to allow just one earned run on five hits, with Sam Platt, the opener's hard luck loser, claimed her first save of the season.
