Today's action marks the final regular season home appearance for Cabrini's four seniors,
Amber Dietrich,
Taylor Gallagher,
Taylor Mack and
Lindsay Savar.
As a group, these ladies have led the Cavaliers to 92 victories, including a 68-16 record in CSAC play and three consecutive CSAC championship games. They have combined to hit .343 with 325 base hits, 506 runs scored, 48 home runs and 283 RBI.
Last Meeting: Cavaliers used long balls to sweep Cyclones (4/23/16, Hackettstown, NJ)
The Blue and White recorded three home runs among its 17 hits in a 15-2 win. Juniors
Jess Giordano and
Sarah Beckner and Savar hit round trippers plated 15 runs in just five innings.
Seven Cavaliers recorded at least two hits in the win, with Savar's three leading the way. Giordano knocked in four runs, one more than sophomore
Darian Caputo and two more than junior
Chrissy Ferraro, Savar and Beckner.
Junior Carolyn Clites walked twice, scored and knocked in a run for the Cyclones, while classmate Sammie Darling surrendered 11 earned runs in 2.1 innings.
Savar powered the Cavaliers to a 7-1 win in the nightcap, going 3-4 with a two RBI single in the fifth and a three run homer in the sixth.
Giordano and sophomore
Marissa Alpaugh recorded two hits each and combined for three runs scored. The junior also earned the win in the pitcher's circle, scattering five hits and six strikeouts.
Clites, Darling and senior Alexis Wilson accounted for three of Centenary's hits in the loss.

Alpaugh went 3-4 with a double and three run home run and totaled five RBI to lead the Blue and White to a 10-0 win on the opener. Mack went a perfect 4-4, crossing the plate twice, while Dietrich added two RBI doubles.

Emily Smull improved to 3-1, as she joined classmate
Jenna Rodriguez to toss a two hitter with seven strikeouts.
The Cavaliers continued their hot bats in the 11-0 nightcap win. Savar and sophomore
Taylor Franchville went 3-3 and combined to score three runs and knock in a pair, but it was junior
Victoria Hall, who sparked the Cabrini offense with a first inning grand slam over the center field fence.
Ferraro added two base hits, while Dietrich's third double of the day plated a pair of runs.
Gallagher and Rodriguez completed a dominant day of Cabrini pitching, as the duo tossed another two hitter.
Centenary Last Time Out: 7 Game win streak snapped with 4-0, 18-0 losses at DeSales
After four inning of a pitcher's duel, DeSales tallied two runs in the fifth and sixth innings to earn a 4-0 win on the opener. The Cyclones notched just two hits in the loss.
Darling fell to 7-9 in the circle after surrendering four earned runs on 10 hits.
Darling could not slow DeSales' momentum in the nightcap, as the junior allowed nine runs on seven hits in just two inning of work, as Centenary fell 18-0. Junior Abbie Kay also saw action in the circle, surrendering eight earned runs on eight hits in two innings.
Junior Ashley Eisenstein and Darling accounted for the Cyclones' three hits in the loss.
