Last Meeting: Cabrini tallied 29 hits in 9-0, 11-1 wins at Rosemont
Junior
Emily Smull's three run homer highlighted a six run first inning for the Cavaliers in the opener. Cabrini sent 10 players to the plate and posted six runs on five hits, as it cruised to a 9-0 victory.
Smull went a perfect 3-3 with four RBI in the win, while sophomore
Marissa Alpaugh went 3-4 with a pair of RBI. Junior
Jess Giordano allowed just one hit in the complete game victory and recorded eight strikeouts.
The hot bats continued into the nightcap, as the Blue and White plated 11 runs on 14 hits. The Cavaliers scored five runs on five hits in the first and added another five runs in the third, including a two-run home run from Alpaugh.
Giordano paced the Cavaliers with three hits, while junior
Chrissy Ferraro, senior
Lindsay Savar and freshman
Taylor Franchville joined Alpaugh with two hits each.
Sophomore Charlie Fillmore scored the lone run for the Ravens, a third inning unearned tally.
Cabrini Last Time Out: Cavaliers overpowered by Lebanon Valley 7-0, 4-2
Lebanon Valley's power was on display in the opener, as the Dutchmen recorded four home runs among its 15 hits in the 7-0 victory. Meanwhile, the Blue and White could not find its rhythm, as it mustered just four hits on the day.
Giordano suffered the loss after allowing five runs in five innings of work in the circle.
The Cavaliers surrendered single runs in the second, third, fourth and seventh innings in the night cap, before looking to rally in their final at bat. Cabrini loaded the bases with three straight one out singles, but managed just two runs.

Victoria Hall accounted for two of the Cavaliers' seven hits in the loss. Classmate

Rosemont Last Time Out: Ravens split with Keystone 1-9, 8-2
The visitors from La Plume got off to a fast start as an infield single from senior Emily Long plated junior Kaylee Hartman to give Keystone a 1-0 lead after one. After both teams failed to score in frame number two, the Giants opened the game up in the third as five runs came across.
Rosemont picked up their lone tally in the bottom of the third when sophomore Darby O'Rourke led off with a single.
Game two featured a fast start for the Ravens as they struck for four runs in the bottom of the first and quickly followed that up with three more in the bottom of the second to balloon the lead to 7-0. That is all the Ravens would need as they would go on to coast to a comfortable 8-2 victory.Â
