MEDIA, PA - The Cabrini men's and women's cross country teams opened their 2017 schedules today at the Bryn Mawr Invitational.  The men finished the 5K course in eighth place.

Junior Andrew Sennett paced the Blue and White men, completing the circuit in 19:11.7, good for a 30th place finish out of 90 total runners.

Two other Cavaliers also posted top-80 finishes, led by sophomore Devon A. Johnson  who placed 52nd, posting a time of 20:16.8. Freshman Chris Giacobbe finished the course with a time of 22:39.5, good enough for 75th.

Junior Mackenzie Patterson led the Cabrini women, recording a 52nd place finish on the 5K course with a time of 25:24.6. Fellow junior Jordan Horsley finished 11 spots behind her classmate, crossing the finish line in 28:25.5.

The Blue and White will have little time to recuperate, as they will visit Coatesville, PA tomorrow for the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Preview Meet. The action gets underway at 11am. Stay tuned to CabriniAthletics.com for updates.
