MULLICA HILL, PA - The Cabrini cross country teams competed in their first race today since the CSAC Preview Meet as they traveled to Mullica Hill for the Bill Fritz Invitational.  The Blue and White men finished 12th out of 14 teams, while junior Mackenzie Patterson led the way for the women.

Junior Andrew Sennett paced the Cavaliers on the day, completing the 8K course in 33:08.04, good for 110 place and his best 8K finish on the year. Sophomores Jacob Montenegro and Devon A. Johnson claimed the second and third best finishes for the Cavs, as they completed the course in 35:34.21 and 36:40.53, respectively. 

As mentioned, Patterson continued her strong running  as she placed 65th out of 109 runners, completing the 6K circuit in 30:15.51, tops amongst the women. 

Fellow junior Jordan Horsley rounded out the finishers for the women with a time of 35:39.71, good enough for 87th place.

The Cavaliers will have another  two week break to recoup before they travel to Bethlehem, PA to compete in the Paul Short invitational hosted by Lehigh University. The action is slated to begin at 1:45pm. Continue to follow your Cavaliers all season long at CabriniAthletics.com.
