Ben Roda connected with
A.J. Bishop for the first of his two goals on the night.
Cabrini carried its 3-0 lead into the halftime break after outshooting the Ravens 19-4 in the opening 45 minutes. The Cavaliers didn't waste much time extending its lead in the second half, as Bishop notched his second goal of the night, converting a long pass from
Bobby Kane.
Bishop returned the favor in the 68th minute, as Kane notched his sixth goal of the season.
Nicholas Leong closed the scoring in the 77th minute with his first career goal after fielding a long pass from Roda.
Cabrini Last Time Out: Eastern takes 3-0 victory over Cavaliers (9/23/17)
The Cavaliers could not find their offense on the campus of Eastern University last Saturday, as the Cabrini men's soccer team suffered a 3-0 loss to the Eagles in the Battle for Eagle Road.
The Eagles opened the scoring in the 22nd minute when Eastern's Jacob Myers redirected a shot past Cabrini's sophomore goaltender
Mike Gould. The score remained 1-0 until the halftime break, as the Blue and White were outshot 14-2 in the opening 45 minutes of action.
The Cavaliers attempted just five shots on the day, and for the first time this season, failed to record a shot on goal. Gould finished the day with six saves.
Rosemont Last Time Out: Ravens open CSAC play with 3-1 loss to Highlanders (9/24/17)
Senior Cavit Ula scored the Ravens lone goal in the match. The senior netted the Ravens' lone goal on a 25-yard strike in the 18
th minute. At the time, the score was an equalizer that brought the match to a 1-1 draw.
Cairn regained the lead midway through the second half, however as they Highlanders added an insurance score to lock down the win. Sophomore keeper Chase McKain recorded six saves in the loss.
