Newville, PA - The Cabrini cross country teams competed in the Dickinson Invitational today where the men finished 15th
out of 17 teams, while junior
Mackenzie Patterson led the way for the women.
Junior
Andrew Sennett paced the Cavaliers in the Newville, course, completing the 8K race in 29:39.8, almost four minutes faster than his time at the Bill Fritz Invitational. Sennett's time was good enough for a 90th place finish.
Sophomores
Jacob Montenegro and
Chris Giacobbe claimed the second and third best finishes for the Cavs, as they completed the course in 30:57.2 and 34:29.4, respectively
.
As mentioned, Patterson paced the women as she placed 145th out of 190 runners, completing the 6K circuit in 27:31.3, tops amongst the women.
Fellow junior
Jordan Horsley and freshman
Kass Kelly rounded out the finishers for the women with times of
32:49.2 and 41:50.6, respectively.
The Cavaliers will next travel to Center Valley, PA to compete in the DeSales University invitational hosted by DeSales University. The action is slated to begin at 10:30am.
