Last Meeting: Monroe sets rebounding record in 80-70 win over Highlanders (12/6/2017, Langhorne, PA)
Senior Tyheim Monroe took his spot in the CSAC history book on the evening, as the senior paired 24 points and 20 rebounds, his (then) sixth double-double of the season and fifth career 20 point, 20 rebound performance.

His 20th board came with just south of two minutes to play and marked the 1,157th rebound of his career, breaking the league's mark of 1,156, previously held by Badou Gaye (Gwynedd-Mercy 2001-05).

Early in the second half, the Highlanders ripped off nine quick points to take a slim 48-47 lead, but one its next possession, Cabrini regained the lead, as junior Ivan Robinson hit senior Chris Lawhorn for a lay-up.

The Blue and White never relinquished its lead, despite the Highlanders' best efforts.  Cairn pulled within two points several times, the final coming at 63-61 with 5:44 to play.

Cabrini Last Time Out: Knights snap Cavs nine game win streak (1/22/2018, Aston, PA)
The Knights spoiled a record setting evening for Cabrini senior Deryl Bagwell who became the latest Cavalier to join the 1,000 point club after he finished with 17 points and added six rebounds and four assists.

Monroe paced the Cavalier offense with his 16th double-double of the season as he paired 23 points and 11 rebounds. Freshman DJ Smith continued his hot shooting from beyond the arc, knocking down 6-of-10 threes en route to 18 points. Sophomore Keith Blassingale rounded out the Cavs in double figures as he finished with 15 points and two steals.

After being down nearly the entire game, the Blue and White clawed their way back over the final 10 minutes as Bagwell ignited a 12-to-4 run with a jumper that marked his 1,000th point and ended with a layup from Blassingale to pull the Cavs to within two with just under a minute to play.

That is unfortunately as close as the Cavs would come, however as the Knights converted on a pair of late layups and hit 4-of-4 free throws down the stretch to pull away and secure their eighth conference victory of the season.

Cairn Last Time Out: Pacers outlast Highlanders, 73-62 (1/23/2018, Langhorne, PA)
Marywood threw the first punch, leading 13-8, but a three from Malachi Hall and a Justin Dean layup quickly brought the Highlanders back into the thick of things.

Hall, who has consistently been the Highlanders go-to player all season, took his game to another level in the second half as he scored Cairn's first 12 points of the half with a slew of leaning jumpers and crafty, scoop layups.

Seth Brunner found Josh Decker for a transition three to bring Cairn within one point 48-49, but despite Hall's best efforts Marywood's inside-out attack of Swartz and forward Jeremy Ringland proved too much, as the duo shot 10-13 in the second half to lead Marywood to a 73-62 victory.

  • Hall's 34 points against Immaculata on January 9th is tied for the league high mark.
  • Cairn's 13.8 turnovers per game are the fourth fewest in the conference, behind only Cabrini, Neumann and Immaculata.
