Alumni Day
Today's action marks the program's annual Alumni Day. The Cavaliers will host an alumni reception following the women's game, with the men's alumni game slated to tip after the men's game. A reception at J.D. McGillicuddy's in Wayne, PA will follow the men's alumni game.

Last Meeting: Monroe and Bagwell Lead Cavaliers to 77-63 victory (1/28/17, Hackettstown, NJ)
Seniors Tyheim Monroe and Deryl Bagwell notched double-doubles, as Cabrini rolled to a 77-63 road win. Monroe shot 13-21 from the floor and paired 31 points and 19 rebounds, while Bagwell tallied 11 points and 13 boards.

With the score tied at 17, The Blue and White went on a 14-3 run, as a put back by senior DeVahnte Mosley pushed the Cabrini lead to 31-20. The Cyclones pulled within five points early in the second half, but the Cavaliers extended its lead back to double digits and maintained a comfortable lead for the final 10 minutes of the game.

Rashaan Spencer scored with 18 points, connecting on 4-7 from three point range, for a Cyclones team that shot just .359 from the field.

Cabrini Last Time Out: Hot shooting leads to 100-67 win over Cairn (1/24,2018, Radnor, PA)
The Cavaliers shot a blistering .714 from the field in the second half to turn a 39-30 halftime lead into a 100-67 runaway victory.  All 13 Cavaliers who saw action marked the scoring column, with junior Anthony Wright-Downing leading the way with a career best 21 points on 9-10 shooting.

Monroe notched his 17th double-double of the season with 17 points and 16 rebounds, while sophomore Keith Blassingale added 12 points.

The Blue and White outscored Cairn 61-37 after the break, and recorded 17 assists on its 25 second half field goals. Of its 61 points, 39 came off the bench and 36 in the paint.

Centenary Last Time Out: Smith's record setting performance leads Cyclones over Defenders (1/24/2018, Hackettstown, NJ)
Senior Hamp Smith recorded a program record 10 steals to lead Centenary to a 72-51 win over Clarks Summit, snapping the team's five game losing skid.

Freshman Larry Joseph led four Cyclones in double figure scoring, as the rookie paired 16 points and a game high 12 boards. Classmate Chris LaBelle added 14 points and nine assists, while fellow freshmen Michael Young and Mike Stazza recorded 11 points each.

Smith added nine points, six rebounds and four assists to his record breaking stat line. The senior's 10 steals are tied for the most in Division III this season and broke Centenary's nine year old mark.

  • The Cavaliers score 88.7 points per game, good for second in the CSAC and 18th in Division III.
  • Monroe continues to lead the nation in rebounding with 16.2 boards per game. He also leads the nation with 292 total rebounds, 17 double-doubles and 11.33 defensive rebounds per game.
  • Bagwell is one of just 19 players in Division III to record a triple double this season. The reigning ECAC South Player of the Week ranks fifth in the CSAC in rebounds (8.3), second in assists (5.1) and fourth in blocked shots (1.3).
  • The Blue and White boasts a 1.44 assist to turnover ratio, 13th in the nation. The Cavaliers have committed just 208 turnovers on the season, lowest in the league.
  • Monroe and Blassingale rank in the top five in the conference in scoring with 22.5 and 18.6 points respectively.

5 Factors for Centenary
  • The Cyclones have scored more than 80 points just once this season and rank ninth in the CSAC with 66 points per game.
  • LaBelle and Joseph pace the Cyclones offensive attack, as the freshman duo record 14.2 and11.8 points, respectively.
  • Centenary has connected on at least five three pointers in each of its last 12 contest, including 11 against Cairn on January 6.
  • Joseph's 7.9 rebounds per game rank seventh in the conference, while his 1.6 bocks rank third.
  • The Cyclones have been outrebounded in each of its last five contests and in 14 of 18 games this season.
