SCRANTON, PA – The Cabrini volleyball team continued its conference win streak with tonight's 3-0 win at Marywood University.
The 25-15, 25-7, 25-14 victory improved the team to 18-8 overall and 5-0 in the Atlantic East Conference.
The Cavaliers posted a hitting percentage of .455 in the win, the team's highest mark since hitting .458 in a win over Rosemont on October 6, 2015.
Junior
Katrina Shelly paced the Blue and White offense with 13 kills, while sophomore
Steph Judkins added 10 and freshman
Hannah Dalton seven. Judkins also posted a match-high eight digs.
Senior
Emily Shannon and freshman
Amelia Ballard recorded 12 assists each. Freshman
Gina Custer added five digs and matched Ballard with a pair of service aces.
Gabriella Santos notched six kills for the Pacers (13-7, 1-3 Atlantic East).
The victory sets up an Atlantic East Conference showdown on Saturday, as the Cavaliers will host Marymount University (20-3, 2-0 Atlantic East) in the league's Game of the Week. Cabrini will put its 64 match conference win streak on the line at 12 noon at Nerney Field House.
