Cabrini vs. Notre Dame Last Meeting: Cabrini 10, Notre Dame of MD 0; Cabrini 11, Notre Dame of MD 0 (4/27/2017, Radnor, PA)
Junior Marissa Alpaugh doubled, homered and drove in four runs, as the Cavaliers banged out 15 hits in a 10-0 win in the opener. Senior Chrissy Ferraro added two base hits and scored twice, while seniors Emily Smull and Jenna Rodriguez combined to toss a two-hitter.

The nightcap proved to be much of the same, as the Cavaliers recorded 11 runs on 13 hits, including a first inning grand slam by senior Victoria Hall. Rodriguez saw two innings of relief of starter Taylor Gallagher, as the duo surrendered just two hits to the Gators.

Cabrini vs. Immaculata Last Meeting: Immaculata 3, Cabrini 2 (5/6/2017, CSAC Championship, Day Two, Scranton, PA)
The Mighty Macs closed the Blue and White's 2017 campaign with a 3-2 win on the final day of the CSAC Championship.

The Cavaliers took an early lead, as Taylor Mack scored after a double and a pair of errors. Immaculata plated three unearned runs in the bottom of the second, recording just one hit, a two RBI double by sophomore Abigail Carter. Cabrini got one run back in the third, as Mack scored on a groundout by junior Marissa Alpaugh.

Cabrini mustered just six hits in the loss, with seniors Chrissy Ferraro, Jess Giordano and Alexandria Ramos notching one each. Senior Jenna Rodriguez suffered the loss after allowing three unearned runs on three hits.

Carter led Immaculata with two of its five hits, while classmate Michaela Petito surrendered one earned run over seven innings to secure the Mighty Macs' spot in the title game.

Cabrini Last Time Out: Cabrini 10, Rosemont 2, Cabrini 10, Rosemont 0 (4/14/2018, Rosemont, PA)
The Cavalier spushed their current win streak to 12 games with a pair of convincing wins at Rosemont. Alpaugh went 3-4 with four RBI and three runs scored in the opener, as six Cavaliers collected at least two hits.

Senior Jess Giordano recorded a recorded a career best 13 punch outs and scattered five hits to earn the victory.

Freshmen Amber Seamen and Olivia Young combined to go 5-8 with four runs scored in the nightcap. Seamen collected three hits, while Young joined Hall and Ferraro with two base knocks each, as Alpaugh and classmate Darien Caputo drove in two runs each.

Freshman Casey Scheuren went the distance in the pitcher's circle, allowing just one Rosemont hit with five strike outs.

Notre Dame of MD Last Time Out: Washington Adventist 14, Notre Dame of MD 2; Notre Dame of MD 9, Washington Adventist 7 (Dunalk, MD)
Junior Samantha Kastner recorded the Gators' only two hits in the opener, as the Shock recorded 17 base hits and 12 earned runs. Junior Madison King was tagged for all 12 earned runs, as she fell to 0-9 on the year.

The Gators rallied in the nightcap, building a7-0 lead en route to the win. Kastner's three hits led four Gators with at least two hits, including sophomore Isa Carunungan paired two doubles and four RBI. Sophomore Hanna Morseman struck out a season-high 10 batters to earn the win.

Immaculata Last Time Out: Marywood 7, Immaculata 1; Immaculata 7, Marywood 4 (4/17/2018, Immaculata, PA)
Marywood took advantage of two first inning errors by the Mighty Macs to build an early 4-0 lead. Immaculata never recovered, as it recorded just four hits and a seventh inning run in the loss.

Sophomore Emily Mesey and senior Annemarie Bartow combined for the four hits, while Bartow drove in the team's only run.

In the nightcap, the Mighty Macs took an early lead as a Bartow single plated Mesey. The Pacers rallied for four runs in the third before Immaculata evened the score in the bottom of the frame with three runs of its own.

The Mighty Macs scored the game-winning run in the fifth, as a result of a Marywood error, before adding a pair of insurance runs in the sixth.

Mesey notched a game-high three hits, while a trio of Mighty Macs added two each. Freshman Keani Hindle drove in a pair of runs, while fellow rookie Emma Bischoff scattered seven hits and struck out five to earn the complete game win.

  • Cabrini's 12 game win streak is the program's longest since winning 14 straight in 2004.
  • After striking out 144 times in 2017, the Blue and White has recorded just 72 strike outs this season, third fewest in the conference.
  • Alpaugh and freshman Aysiah Cintron are tied for fourth in the conference with matching .529 on-base percentages.  
  • The Cavaliers rank 16th in Division III with 7.54 runs per game, while their .256 batting average ranks 25th and .418 on-base percentage 29th.
  • Cabrini has recorded at least nine hits in each of its last 11 contests.

5 Factors for Notre Dame of MD
  • The Gators have struggled to find their offense, as their .211 batting average, 81 hits and 50 runs are the lowest in the CSAC.
  • Kastner, Carunungan and Morseman are the only Gators with north of 10 hits on the season. The trio has also combined for all of the team's 18 extra base hits.
  • Tuesday's 9-7 win over Washington Adventist marked just the second time this season, Notre Dame of MD has recorded more than five runs.
  • Kastner has recorded at least one hit in 15 of the team's 18 games, and at least two hits in six games.
  • Morseman has struck out at least five batters in four of her nine appearances.

  • Bartow recently broke the CSAC record with her 63rd double, and stands just six hits from entering the league's top 10 in career hits with 202.
  • The Mighty Macs boast the league's top defense with a 0.959 fielding percentage.
