RADNOR, PA – The Cavaliers faced an uphill battle today, as the Cabrini field hockey team welcomed No. 15 Rowan University to Edith Robb Dixon Field. The Profs firepower was too much for the Blue and White, as Rowan scored a 7-0 victory.
The Cavaliers struggled to find any offensive rhythm, as the Profs dominated the ball, recording 29 shots to just one for Cabrini. Rowan also forced 21 penalty corners on the day.
Rowan opened the scoring in the 17th minute and doubled its lead seven minutes later. The Cavaliers' deficit grew to 3-0 at the half, as Rowan added a goal in the final minutes of the opening stanza.
The Profs wasted little time extending their lead after the break, as the team scored three goals in the first 11 minutes of the frame.

The road gets no easier for Cabrini as they will head to Salisbury, MD on Saturday to face No. 6 ranked Salisbury University. The opening whistle is scheduled for 6pm.
