What's at Stake
Tonight's winner will advance to Saturday's Atlantic East Conference championship game, where it will face the winner of tonight's other semifinal between No. 2 Immaculata and No. 3 Marymount.
A victory for the Cavaliers would send the Blue and White to its fifth consecutive conference championship, while a win would secure the Wolverines' third championship game appearance and first since 2008.
Last Meeting: Cabrini 2, Wesley 1 (10/16/2019, RADNOR, PA)
Sophomore
Nick Booth's 99th minute secured a Senior night win for the Cavaliers, after Wesley tied the game in the final minutes of regulation.
Senior
Andre Justin game the Cavaliers the lead in the 23rd minute off a Booth assist. Cabrini maintained its lead until the 87th minute, when senior Matthew Dina's 35-yard blast evened the score.
The Blue and White regrouped before the extra period. Senior goaltender
Mike Gould made the final of his eight save in the 92nd minute to keep the score tied, before Booth ended the action with his game-winner.
Booth accounted for two of the Blue and White's shot attempts, while seven others recorded one each.
Freshman Kaiden Fields posted four of the Wolverines' 17 shots, one more than Dina. Sophomore goaltender Jason Sommer tallied three saves in the loss.
Cabrini Last Time Out: Cabrini 2, Marymount 0 (10/30/2019, Radnor, PA)
After a scoreless first half, junior
Josh Cunningham recorded two goals in 11 minutes to help Cabrini secure the number one seed in the Atlantic East Conference Tournament.
In the 48th minute, Booth's corner kick found Cunningham for a one-timer, marking the junior's third goal of the season.
The duo struck again 11 minutes later. Once again, Cunningham found himself on the business end of Booth's corner kick service for his first career multi-goal game.
The Cavaliers outshot the visitors 16-9 on the day, including 7-3 in the first half. Booth led the club with three shots, while Cunningham joined senior
Chris Araujo and freshman
Matt Duddy with two shot each.
Junior goaltender
Anthony Zampirri posted four saves to earn the shutout.
Wesley Last Time Out: Wesley 2, Neumann 1 (OT) (11/2/2019, Dover, DE)
Sophomore Justin John-Langba punched in a loose ball in front of Neumann's goal in the 108th minute of action to send the Wolverines to tonight's semifinal match-up.
Junior Darius-David Robinson put Wesley on the board in the 35th minute. The home side clung to its slim lead but in the final seconds of regulation, Neumann's Matt Brown leveled the score, sending the game to overtime.
Neither club recorded a shot in the first extra period, but John-Langda tallied a pair for the Wolverines, including the game-winner with just two minutes before penalty kicks.
John-Langda led Wesley with three of its eight shots, while Fields added a pair. Sommer collected the victory with two saves.
