What's At Stake
The winner of Monday's first round match-up will advance to Wednesday's semifinal round. Third seed Marymount and No. 6 Immaculata will also meet tonight in the other first round contest.
The higher seeded winner tonight will visit No. 2 Marywood, while the lower seed will face top seed Gwyndd Mercy in the semifinal round. Wednesday's winners will meet on Saturday for the championship.
Last Meeting: Wesley 105, Cabrini 98 (2/6/2019, Dover, DE)
Trailing 55-41 at the half, the Blue and White wasted little time climbing back into the game, using an 18-7 spurt to cut its deficit to 62-59 with 14:49 to play. The Wolverines again had an answer, as a 10-1 spurt re-established a 12 point lead for the home team.
Trailing 97-84 with 2:38 to play, the Cavaliers mounted one final comeback attempt. A 7-0 run sliced Cabrini's deficit to 97-91 after a pair of Wright-Downing free throws, but the Wolverines went 9-12 at the charity stripe to seal the win.
Senior
Anthony Wright-Downing reached the 1,000 career point in the loss, totaling 30 points, seven rebounds and five steals. Freshman
Voshon Mack paired a career high 32 points with a game high 13 rebounds, while senior
Alsmith Saintilus added 16 points. Senior
Ivan Robinson handed out a career best 10 assists.
Junior Brian Cameron scored 34 points to lead five Wolverines in double figure scoring, while senior Evan Anderson added 22 points.
Cabrini Last Time Out: Marymount 88, Cabrini 69 (2/16/2019, Alexandria, VA)
The Blue and White built an early five point lead but minutes later, used a 14-0 run to build a 25-12 cushion at the 9:01 mark. After trailing by as many as 16 points late in the first half, the Cavaliers posted the final eight points of the stanza, pulling to within 36-28 at the half.
Despite shooting north of .480 in the second half, the Cavaliers could not make significant progress in eliminating their deficit, as the Saints shot nearly .700 from the field and 12-14 from the charity stripe after the break.
Mack led the Cavaliers tin today's action, pairing 22 points, eight rebounds and three steals. Senior Wright-Downing added 13 points and four steals, while Saintilus chipped in with 11 points.
Wesley Last Time Out: Neumann 80, Wesley 69 (2/16/2019, Dover, DE)
Wesley built a 27-13 lead midway through the first half, but a late push gave the visitors a 44-40 lead at the break. The Wolverines events the game at 45 early in the second half and led by as many as four points.
The Knights eventually tied the game at 61 with just over 10 minutes to play before outscoring the Wolverines 24-9 over the game's final 10 minutes.
Anderson and Cameron posted 22 points each and combined for 10 rebounds and five assists, while Tyrone Craven earned game-high honors with seven assists and seven rebounds.

- The Cavaliers are making their 12th consecutive postseason appearance. This marks the first time since 2007-08 that the Cavaliers will begin their postseason on the road.
