Box Score HAVERFORD, PA - The Cabrini men's soccer team fell to the hosting Haverford College Fords this afternoon by a 4-0 final. 

The Cavs trailed just 1-0 heading into the intermission, but a big second half, highlighted by three goals, lifted the hosts to victory. Haverford's Nick Jannelli paced the home team with a pair of second half tallies separated by just 13 minutes, as well as a first half assist. 

Offensively the Blue and White were led by senior Kostas Slikas with two shots, one of which landed on frame. Freshman Vincent DeLisi rounded out the Cavs to mark the shot column with two of his own. 

Junior keeper Anthony Zampirri faced an aggressive Haverford attack that totaled 22 shots, 11 in each half, and 12 shots on goal. The North Wildwood, NJ native finished his night with seven saves. The Fords also held a sizable 7-0 advantage in corner kicks. 

Haverford's Peter Baroff recorded four shots and an assist, while Anthony Walker rounded out the offensive attack with an assist late in the second half. 

Following today's game, the Cavaliers move to 0-1 on the season. They will look to even their record when they host DeSales University on Tuesday, September 3rd at Edith Robb Dixon Field.

The Cavs own a 7-6 record against the Bulldogs dating back to 2005 and earned the victory in last year's matchup by way of a 1-0 final. Game time is slated for 7pm.
