GLASSBORO, NJ – The Cabrini field hockey team could not overcome the high powered offense of the No. 2 Rowan Profs tonight, as the Cavaliers suffered a 7-0 loss.
Rowan (4-0) opened the scoring in the fifth minute and doubled its lead in the final seconds of the first quarter. The Profs advantage grew to 4-0 at the half.
Senior goaltender Noelie Ramirez posted 16 saves in the loss, while freshman
Olivia Sims recorded Cabrini's lone shot in the loss.
The Cavaliers (1-4) will face a tough task as they look to end their current three game losing streak on Saturday, as No. 4 Salisbury (5-0) will pay a visit to Edith Robb Dixon Field. Game time is set for 12pm.
