HAVERFORD, PA – A five minute period of the second quarter proved to be the difference, as the Cabrini field hockey team fell to 1-2 on the season after today's 4-0 loss at Haverford College
After 18 scoreless minutes, Haverford's Emma Iacobucci netted two goals in less than a minute. The Fords pushed their lead to 3-0 at the half after outshooting the Blue and White 24-3 in the opening 30 minutes.
The score remained 3-0 through the third quarter, but Cabrini's comeback attempt was made even tougher after a 49th minute Haverford goal.

Noelia Ramirez tallied 18 saves for the Cavaliers, while freshman
Olivia Sims accounted for three of Cabrini's six shots on the day.
Rylee Fennell and Dalie Bercow also marked the scoring column for the Fords (3-0).
The Cavaliers will look to return to the win column on Saturday, as they make their home debut with a visit from Gettysburg College (1-2). The opening whistle is slated for 1pm at Edith Robb Dixon Field.
