The Yellow Jackets opened the scoring just over two minutes into the action and never looked back. Sophomore Judge Morgan doubled the lead in the 18th minute, helping establish a 2-0 led that R-MC would carry into the halftime break, before junior Aaron Eiser added a 74th minute tally.

The Cavaliers never found their collective footing after falling behind early. Each of the team's seven shot came in the opening 45 minutes, as the Blue and White was outshot 11-0 in the second half.

Freshman Matt Duddy scored two goals in a three-minute span of the second half, breaking a scoreless tie. The rookie converted passes from juniors Christian Rafter and Dani Acevedo in the 61st and 64th minutes, respectively, for Cabrini's first goals of the season.

The Blue and White held a 10-9 advantage in shots, with five attempts coming from Duddy's boots, while junior goaltender Anthony Zampirri added three saves to secure the victory.

Washington Last Time Out: Washington 2, Keystone 1 2OT (8/31/2019, Chestertown, MD)
Junior Greg Adams converted a pass from senior Kyle Gaeffke just 33 seconds into the second overtime period to give the Shoremen a 2-1 victory in the final game of the Athey Cup. Both teams scored midway through the first period before nearly 70 minutes of scoreless action.

Junior James Strine and freshman Cole Gifford combined for nine of the Shoremen's 18 shots in the win, while junior goaltender Gavin Campbell went without a save in the win.

Randolph-Macon Last Time Out: Randolph-Macon 3, Averett 1 (9/1/2019, Ashland, VA)
The Yellow Jackets rebounded from a 23rd minute own goal to score a 3-1 home victory to even its record. Sophomore Connor Lorenz evened the game in the 30th minute with senior Paul Duffy scoring the eventual game-winner just 73 seconds into the second half.
