RADNOR, PA – The Cabrini volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 victory over the visiting Centenary University Cyclones. The 25-6, 25-4, 25-11 victory improved the Blue and White to 8-15 overall and 4-0 in the Atlantic East Conference with just two league matches remaining.
Six Cavaliers recorded 4-8 kills on the night, led by junior
Alex Orr with eight. Sophomore
Lily Baynum added seven, while freshmen
Sam Heenan and
Makenzie Griffith notched six each.

Melanie Cotes-Rivera directed the attack with 26 assists, while senior
Lexi Conte added eight. Heenan and senior
Gina Custer added six digs each, one more than freshman
Jessie Donovan and two more than senior
Hannah Dalton.
The Blue and White added a season high 14 service aces, marking the fourth time in its last six matches that the club has recorded at least 10. Cotes-Rivera led the way with four, one more than Donovan, while Conte, Baynum and Heenan tallied two each.
Prior to the match, head coach
Eric Schaefer was honored with a plaque recognizing his 300th career victory. Schaefer reached the mark with a 3-0 victory at Gwynedd Mercy on Oct. 5.
The Cavaliers will return to the court on Friday, whey they celebrate Senior Night with a visit from Immaculata University. First serve is scheduled for 7pm inside Nerney Field House.
