EWING, NJ – The Cabrini field hockey team suffered its third consecutive defeat today with a 6-0 loss at No. 4 TCNJ. The set back dropped the Cavaliers to 3-3 on the year.
The Cavaliers fell behind in the opening minute, as TCNJ's Jess Hatch scored the first of her three goals just 44 seconds after the opening whistle. The Lions extended their lead 15 seconds later.
The Blue and White could not find its footing in the opening stanza, falling on the short end of a 13-0 tally in shots that resulted in a 3-0 deficit on the scoreboard.
The home side added a marker early in the second quarter and carried its 4-0 lead into the break, while outshooting the Cavaliers 21-1.

The Blue and White will look to snap its current three game losing streak on Thursday, when the club returns to Edith Robb Dixon Field to host Stockton. The opening whistle is scheduled for 4pm.
